Born and raised in Toronto, Michael Wymant is the Director of Sustainability with BLJC (Brookfield Lepage Johnson Controls) – one of the largest facility management firms in Canada. Michael is also a faculty member with the Canada Green Building Council instructing thousands of students; an advocate of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) approach to sustainable buildings. At BLJC, Michael launched Sustainable Line of Business with a core staff of engineers and project managers in 2009. In 2012, Michael launched BLJC’s Every Drop- water reduction program reducing millions of litres of potable water across Canada. Michael is a graduate of University of Western Ontario and holds an advance degree from Northwestern University. He is currently completing his Master in Environment and Business with the University of Waterloo. He lives in Toronto with his wife Kirsten and their two children.
