Giving
A great gift idea for a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or any other special
day! Make a donation in the name of a friend or loved one in lieu of a gift.
Your donation will lend special meaning to the occasion and the person you
are honouring will appreciate your thoughtfulness. The gift can be made by
you alone or by a group of people such as a family or work colleagues.
WaterCan will
prepare a certificate advising the honouree that a donation has been
made in their name, and will mail the certificate either directly to
them or to you – it’s your choice. To
make a special gift, please call 1-800-370-5658 or (613) 230-5182.
Legacies
A legacy, also known as a bequest, is a wonderful testament to your commitment
to "Clean Water For All". Many dedicated donors have remembered
WaterCan in their wills. You may wish to leave Watercan a specific amount
of money, or you may prefer to bequest a certain percentage of the residue
of your estate to WaterCan. The residue is what is left over after all
debts, legacies and individual gifts are paid. Should you consider leaving
a legacy in your will to WaterCan, your lawyer or financial advisor will
be able to assist you.
