or simply treat the kids to a video instead of their regular class.

Auctions:
Auctions can be live, silent, or blind. You can auction anything: goods, services
or skills. A great idea is a menu auction, where people bid on dinners.
The 'chefs' are not revealed - only what the meal will consist of.
Social events:
Fundraising social events can include B-B-Q's, cocktail parties, dinners/receptions,
wine and cheese parties, and garden parties. Or, if you're having a private
social event, tell your friends that instead of bringing the usual host/hostess
gifts, you would prefer that they make a donation to WaterCan. You collect
the cheques at the party, and send them off to WaterCan. Easy!
Legal and Safety
Aspects:
Insurance, licences, by-laws and permits should be considered when planning
your event. For assistance with these matters, please contact WaterCan.
