Chris brings a professional background in public health with particular expertise in the areas of health/hygiene and sanitation promotion, community development, and participatory methodologies. Christian has worked for the Kenyan Ministry of Health, CARE International and WaterAid. In addition to his work with WaterCan, Chris provides professional advisory services to organizations working in the water and sanitation sector including Save the Children UK, UNICEF, and ICRC. His assignments have taken him to Ethiopia, south Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Ghana, Eritrea, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
Chris is a Kenyan national and holds a Diploma in Public Health/Environmental Health Sciences from the College of Health Sciences in Nairobi, Kenya, and a Diploma in Community Water Supply and Sanitation from WEDC/Loughborough University, UK.
