This fall, WaterCan launches a pilot project for a new programming stream: Clean Water for Health. Many health facilities in eastern Africa are burdened with appalling water and sanitation conditions, contributing to sickness and disease among both patients and health workers. WaterCan, in collaboration with our local partners, developed this new initiative to help contribute to a reduction in water, sanitation and health (WASH) related health risks to patients, health workers and caregivers/visitors in assisted health facilities. The first project will be piloted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at Kechene Clinic. Learn More
