LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics (North America), purveyor of natural body products, supports WaterCan's project work in Africa by launching the "Charity Pot".

All proceeds from every pot of hand and body lotion sold go into the LUSH Charity Pot Fund, which then gets distributed to six charitable groups, one of which is WaterCan.
Through this initiative, LUSH customers will help WaterCan to provide access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education to still more needy children and their families in Africa.
Retailing for $19.95 CDN, the 240g "Charity Pot" contains a luxurious hand and body lotion, made with fairly traded cocoa butter and almond oil, and fragranced with ylang ylang, geranium, and tagettes essential oils.

An instant success in the UK, the "Charity Pot" is now being launched in North America. Pots are available in all LUSH stores across North America - in plenty of time for the holidays!
The "Charity Pot" program will both raise awareness of the work charitable organizations are doing and will act as examples of the types of causes LUSH is looking to fund. As quickly as money comes into the Charity Pot Fund, it will be sent out to the chosen groups. A full and regularly updated list of all charities and causes the Fund donates to will be available at www.lush.com.
