Fundraising ideas, resources and activities
The CWfS Program offers youth the opportunity to fundraise towards projects that will bring clean drinking water, sanitation and better health to African school children. We like to call this fundraising initiative WaterCan@Schools!
But how?
Here is one example:
Miss Egar's & Miss Cramp's School, in Westmount, Quebec raised $478.09!
The class decided to organize a rummage sale to raise funds and help bring clean water to Africa. Rebecca T., the student who initiated the fundraising drive and invited Gary H.J. Pluim, WaterCan's Executive Director to speak at her school, later wrote to WaterCan: "It was a fun experience for all of us to work together as a team to raise money for a great cause!"
