WaterCan is thrilled to announce that on Friday, May 5, 2006, WaterCan will celebrate its 12th Annual Embassy Dinner at the historic Aberdeen Pavilion, Lansdowne Park, presented for a second year by Ottawa based life sciences company – MDS Nordion
BUFFET OF NATIONS
As is the tradition, the event will feature a ‘BUFFET OF NATIONS’. Embassies and High Commissions representing some 40 countries will offer delicious and varied assortment of culinary specialties from their respective homelands.

FUNDS RAISED
All funds raised at this Dinner will help support small-scale clean water and sanitation projects in developing countries. Last year’s gross revenues were $113,000, which helped provide 4,600 people with access to safe and affordable drinking water and sanitation services.

HOW TO ATTEND THE EVENT
Everyone who has attended the Embassy Dinner knows there is something special about it. Perhaps it's the locale, or the wonderful and varied cuisine, but maybe it's the ambience that is generated when people from a wide variety of backgrounds come together for a common cause. One thing is certain; it is the only event of its kind in the capital region! Tickets are $100 and a charitable tax receipt of $60 per ticket will be issued. Corporate Tables of 8 and 10 are available for $1,000 and $1,200 respectively.
