Annual Embassy Dinner

This spring, we’d like you to think differently about water. Each year, some two million people - 5,000 children every day - die from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation. At any given time, 50 per cent of the world’s hospital beds are in use by people with these diseases, making dirty water and poor sanitation the largest causes of sickness in the world. Fair? Of course not. So please join us in doing something about it.
By attending the Embassy Dinner, you are supporting WaterCan’s projects overseas, providing access to clean water and sanitation for thousands of people in eastern Africa. Clean water and sanitation save lives, contribute to dignity, social development, and gender equality, support environmental safety, bolster education, and provide a foundation for economic growth.
