A MUSICAL SOIRÉE
The Ambassador of France and Madame Guelluy once again hosted a glorious evening of beautiful music and sumptuous food on Thursday, February 26th in support of WaterCan. The eighty tickets sold out quickly and guests were overjoyed!
The Trio Hochelaga kindly performed in the salons of the Résidence as a gift to WaterCan. Celebrated musicians -- Stéphane Lemelin (piano), Anne Robert (violin) and Benoit Loiselle (cello) -- delighted guests with selections from Ludwig van Beethoven, Gabriel Fauré and Gabriel Pierné. A splendid buffet dinner of fine French cuisine and wine followed the hour-long concert.
WaterCan is grateful for the generosity and hospitality of His Excellency Monsieur Philippe Guelluy and Madame Guelluy. We thank the Embassy of France for its continued generosity and support. WaterCan also thanks the Trio Hochelaga for their gift of heavenly music that made the evening one to remember. The funds raised at this event will help to support small-scale clean water and sanitation projects in developing countries.
