If we want to create a world where everyone’s basic human rights to clean water and sanitation are met, it’s going to take more than just the public’s concern, commitment and contributions. It’s going to require a concerted effort on behalf of the international community, including the Canadian government, to mobilize their collective resources to end this crisis!
Advocacy campaigns present a way for Canadians to tell our political leaders that we care deeply about the global water and sanitation crisis and to ask that they take action to end it.
Check back regularly for advocacy campaign updates, particularly on WaterCan’s key Days of Action: World Water Day (March 22) and World Toilet Day (November 19).
