To celebrate a special occasion or commemorate the passing of a loved one consider giving a gift that helps others.
Making a donation to WaterCan in the name of friends, family members, colleagues or anyone else carries with it special meaning as it will help to transform the lives of those less fortunate.
You have two options. You may choose to send an e-card for a donation of any amount, or request WaterCan to prepare a personal card advising the honouree or the person specified that a donation has been made in their name. This option is available for donations of $25 and above. Cards are mailed either directly to them or to you – it’s your choice. The individual making the gift will receive the tax receipt.

In the 2007-2008 fiscal year WaterCan spent 81% of all expenditures on programming. This means that your donation goes a long way in supporting local poverty eradication efforts through the provision of clean water and basic sanitation to those who need it most.
